Shopify section · Online Store 2.0
A scroll-driven section that turns your colorway range into a full-screen story — and links every shade straight to its variant. Installs in two minutes. No app, no subscription, nothing phoning home.
One file. Any OS 2.0 theme. Lifetime updates.
A colour grid makes a shopper compare. A sequence makes them want. This section gives every shade a full screen, its own light, and its own buy link.
A hoodie in seven colours stops being a dropdown and starts being a range worth scrolling through.
Foundation in twenty-four shades is the hardest thing to merchandise in a grid. It is the easiest thing to merchandise here.
Anything where the product is the same and the colour is the decision. Each scene links to its own variant.
Most section products assume you run Dawn, inherit half your theme's stylesheet, and break the first time you touch a setting. This one is a single file that carries its own CSS and its own JavaScript, scoped to its own section ID.
Everything is a theme-editor setting. You will not touch the code again after you paste it in.
Scene name, pill label, product image, alt text, the two gradient colours, the text colour, and the link — point it at a specific variant so the shade the visitor is looking at is the shade in the cart.
Heading, kicker, skip label, mobile swipe hint, closing button and its colours, scroll distance per scene, and a sticky-header offset so nothing hides behind your header.
Desktop pins the product and cross-fades between shades as you scroll. Mobile becomes a snap-scrolling swipe carousel — not a desktop effect crammed into a phone.

If your theme supports sections on any page — that is every Online Store 2.0 theme, so anything you bought or installed in the last few years — yes. The section brings its own styles and scripts and does not read anything from your theme.
No. You create one file in the theme editor, paste the contents in, and save. After that everything is done through settings. The included README walks through it step by step with screenshots of where to click.
One square PNG per colour, transparent background, product centred. Shoot or export every shade at the same distance and angle — the section cross-fades between them, so any shift in scale reads as a jump. The README has the full spec.
Up to twelve scenes per section. Add a second section if you need more. For six or more, turn the scroll distance down to around 50–70vh so the section does not swallow the page.
It adds no network requests beyond your own images, which are served responsively through Shopify's CDN and lazy-loaded below the first scene. There is no library to download and no app script.
Email me and I will fix it or refund you. This is source code and cannot be returned once downloaded, so refunds are handled case by case — but if it will not run on your theme and cannot be made to, you get your money back.
Yes, free, forever. You will get a mail when a new version ships.
